He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman Potter and Willie Potter; his wife Jessica Potter; his daughters, Allisyn Potter, Alyssa Duro (Nate), Brooke Minges and Lauren Karis Potter; his brother James Potter; and his grandsons, Hawkan Haakanson, Hunter Haakanson, Bane Duro and Brock Duro. He was also cherished by numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established at First United Bank in the name of Jessica Potter to assist with final expenses.
