We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2021, at the age of 97, Walter Darrell Cooksey of McLoud, Oklahoma, born in Geary, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ray and Nellie Ruth Cooksey (Webb); and his brother Alan Cooksey. He is survived by: his wife Helen Schlosser; his children, Kathy (Mike Beaucourt) of Yukon, Ruth Cooksey of Arkansas, Thomas Cooksey of McLoud, Mary Lankford of McLoud, Carol Langston of Wellston, Teresa Moon of McLoud and Sharon (Jim) of Harrah; his sister Myra Wright of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Michael B, Wendy, Michael A, Darrell, Jennifer, Tyler, William, Alyxandria, Jessica and Kayla. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St Vincent's Catholic Church, McLoud.
