She was predeceased by: her parents, Anvil Lee Summers and Doretha "Dot" Summers (Lelon Higdon); her spouse Lelon Higdon; her brother Corky Summers; and her son Robert Brightman.
She is survived by: her sons, William Butch Higdon, Paul Higdon (Jane) of McLoud and Gary Higdon (Beverly) of Mustang, OK; and her grandchildren, Paul Allen Higdon (Stephanie) of Oklahoma City, Susan Boyer (Kevin) of McLoud, Jimmy Higdon of McLoud, Scott Higdon of Mustang, Karie McKinley (Gerad) of McLoud, Shannon Higdon (Kristi) of McLoud and Jeff Nolen. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
