We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2021, at the age of 80, Hester Thompson of McLoud, Oklahoma, born in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hester Thompson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Foster Risenhoover and Mildred Risenhoover (Calvary); and her husband Charles "Charlie" Thompson. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Peggy Davison (Thompson) of McLoud, OK; her siblings, Billy Risenhoover (Karen) of Ada, OK and Alice Hartman of Ardmore, OK; her son Dennis Thompson (Dayla) of Owasso, OK; and her grandchildren, Lacey (Caleb Turner) of Norman, OK, Brad Davison (Ashleigh) of Tecumseh, OK, Andrew Thompson (Nathalia) of Owasso, OK and Molly (Jakob Fisher) of Gaithersburg, MD. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
After Charlie had to be admitted to the Alzheimer's unit in the VA at Norman, she moved to McLoud to be close enough to spend at least 3 days a week with him there.
