With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Allen McGovern of McCurtain, Oklahoma, born in Crossett, Arkansas, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis McGovern and Marilyn McGovern; and his grandparents, Robert, Wilma McGovern, Howard and Eunice Scroggins.
He is survived by: his wife Betty VanHoose McGovern; his stepchildren, Dwayne Stanart of Yukon, OK, Ray Stanart of Yukon, OK, Luther Stanart of Idabel, OK and Sharon Walls of Broken Bow, OK; his sisters, Julie (Michael Birdsong) and Carla Daniels of Tishomingo, OK; his nephews, A. J. Birdsong and Jack Birdsong; and his friends, Todd Finley, Stephen Womack, Tommy Carver, Chris Sullens and Larry Owens. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
