He is survived by: his mother Lanell James (Fogle) of Valliant, OK; his wife Ginger Thornburgh of Valliant, OK; his daughters, Hannah Cowell (Cody) of Valliant, OK, Rachel Mussett (Kolton) of Wright City, OK and Erin Jones (Tatokain) of Choctaw, OK; his grandchildren, Logan Cowell, Caroline Cowell, Kooper Mussett, Rebecca Mussett, Kate Mussett and Isaiah Frank Cowell; and his siblings, Jess James (Pam) of Valliant, OK, Debbie Golden (Ronnie) of Spencerville, OK and Dona James of Valliant, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
