He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Basolo and Ethel Basolo (Grimes); his sister Beverly Basolo; his parents-in-law, William and Helen Treptow; his siblings-in-law, Russell, Mildred Cole and Tommy Connelly; his nephew Bobby Dettling; and his great-niece Lauren.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Basolo (Treptow); his children, Regina Edwards (Larry) of McAlester and Robert Basolo Jr.; his grandchildren, Julia Andrews (Judah), Jake Edwards (Shay), Rachael Bernardi (Kyle), Stormi McKay and Tanner Sells; his great grandchildren, Dani Weston, Duke Edwards, Addison Bernardi, Raylan Bernardi, Oaklyn Bernardi, Ryan Sells, Remington Sells and Agustin Dozier; his sister Dr. Mary Catherine Dettling; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Dettling, Jo Ann Connelly, Brenda Bomar (James) and Bill Treptow (Liz). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
