The passing of Ralph Eugene Perona of McAlester, Oklahoma leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 100. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perona and Ethel Perona (Roberts); his stepmother Ruth Perona; his wife Elsie Perona (Beswick); his son Michael Perona; and his brother John T. Perona.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie; his grandchildren, Sandra McDougall, Gareth Perona (Nicky), Kelly Perona, Hannah Cook (Dewi) and Sam; his great grandchildren, Chelsea Perona of England, Leah Perona of England, Marlie Rae Perona of England, Chloe Perona of England, Liam Perona of England, Cameron Perona of England, Oliver Perona of England, George Cook of England and Toby Cook of England; his nieces, Camilla Perona of Oklahoma and Marian Shelby (Lee) of Oklahoma; his cousins, Robin Perona, Denny Williams, Rosemary Ashcraft (Danny) and Greg Wright (Amy); and also, Sydnee of Oklahoma and Brynlee of Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bishop Chapel of Memories (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501).
