It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Rose Stowers in McAlester, Oklahoma, born in Wallingford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Julius and Rose Evelyn Martin (Bidder); her husband O. D. Stowers; her sons, James "Jimmy" Joseph Stowers and Henry Richard Stowers; and her siblings, Edward Martin, Robert Martin, Richard Martin, Mary Bennett and Doris Bonviso.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Samantha Barlow; her daughters-in-law, Laura Stowers of Alderson and Gail Stowers of Arpelar; and her grandchildren, Bobby Stowers (Jammie) of Arpelar, Tammie Lopez (Devin) of Alderson, Joshua Stowers (Karen) of Arpelar and Kathy McCoy (Chip) of Arpelar. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
