She was predeceased by: her husband Layman Jones; her parents, Charles "Blue" Blackmon and Minnie Lee Stockstill Blackmon; her brother Glen Blackmon; her parents-in-law, Joe Jones and Myrtle Lakey Jones; and her siblings-in-law, James Sutton (Faye), Gene Jones, Melva Henry and Joyce Stephens (Joe).
She is survived by: her niece Kelli Blackmon Fleming; her great-niece Hayley Fleming; her great-nephew Tyler Murphy; her children, Tonya Ettner (Fred) and Corey Jones; her grandchildren, Kylie Martin, Garrett Martin, Hayden Jones and Rylee Jones; her siblings-in-law, Tommy Jones, Buzz Henry, Peggy Blackmon, Janie Tucker (Leroy), JoAnn Ryan, Nancy Beaty and Donna Jones; her niece Robin Hughes (Kevin); her nephew Bo Blackmon (Jenny); and also Cassondra Jones. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Palestine Baptist Church (2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
