He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pool and Dollie Pool (Scott); his former wife Lorna Trapp; his brother Bobby Gene (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Norma Wood, Donna Hardin, Jack Bess and Doyle Bess.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Rae Ann of McAlester and Mark; his daughter-in-law Dana of Springdale, Ark.; and his grandson Jared (Kendall Brown) of McAlester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with scores of friends and neighbors.
