It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry DeWayne James of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva James and Ruby James (Shelton); and his brothers, Johnny, Larry and Roy "Pete" James.
He is survived by: his wife Nam James; his children, Sandra James and Michael; his daughter-in-law Cynthia James; his grandchildren, Catherine James, Christina James, Orianna James, DeAnna James, Donavan James-Gonzales, Midori James and Breanna James; his brother Donny James; and his sisters-in-law, Karen James and Nancy James.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home (103 N 10th St, Hartshorne, OK 74547). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
