It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomas Patterson of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Patterson and Opal Patterson (Coker). He is survived by: his wife DeLoyce Patterson; his children, Tommy Patterson (Kamy), Deborah Thomas (Matt) and Krista Patterson; his grandchildren, Jill Patterson, Garrett Patterson (Kristen), Matthew Thomas (Robyn), Mallory Thomas, Emylea Todd and Caylea Blankenship (Bryce); his great grandchildren, Kylie Patterson, Hunter Patterson and Parklynn Blankenship; his brother John; his sister-in-law Chris Patterson; his niece Stephanie Gonzalez (Chris); his nephew Daran Patterson; and his siblings-in-law, Rusty and Schahara Hudelson.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Main and Oklahoma Church of Christ (1700 S Main St, McAlester, OK 74501).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sooner Youth Camp.
