He is survived by: his wife Sharon June Whisenhunt; his children, Barbara Grider, Robin Nelson (Brian), Calvin Smith, Doyle Smith (Edie), Sherry Pierce, Dianna Whitaker and Julie Smith-Forsyth; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Josh, Kasidy, Kimberly, Chris, Emily, Kyrstin, Ariel, Marti, Ashley and Stephanie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
