We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2025, at the age of 92, George H. Lampton of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lampton and Reba Lampton; his former wife Eda Sue Pope of Tulsa; his daughter Cheryl Offenberger; and his grandson Ryan Offenberger.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Lampton of Miami, Florida; his children, Gregory Lampton of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Dierker of Oklahoma City and John Schoemann of Miami, Florida.; his grandchildren, Ashley Boettcher of Frisco, Craig Offenberger of Dallas, Texas, Hope Hunt of Marlow and Noah Dierker of Farmers Branch, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Avery Boettcher and Cason Boettcher of Frisco, Texas..
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1300 E Washington Ave, McAlester, OK 74501).
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Hospice of McAlester and First Presbyterian Church of McAlester.
