He is survived by: his wife Linda Merrick; his children, Jaime Rowell (Charles) of Crowder, Casey Smith (Derrick) of McAlester, Kristy Karr of Blanchard, Desiree Merrick of McAlester, Madi Merrick of McAlester, Jonathan Merrick of McAlester, Noah Rey Merrick of McAlester and Jason Merrick of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Maverick Rowell, Austin Rowell, Dean Smith, Olivia Smith, Ray Ray Alvarado, Christian Kyle Karr, Robyn Leigh Yeargin, Keeley Merrick, NeVan Merrick, Jason Merrick and Justin Merrick; his great grandchildren, Renessmee Merrick, Addilyn Merrick, Jason Merrick, Sammie Mann, Jonathan Allen Merrick and Zoe Yeargin; and his siblings, Catherine Tadlock of McAlester, Edith Smith (Doyle) of Indianola, Steve Long (Cindi) of Broken Arrow, Randy Long (Candis) of Fulton and Larry Long (Delina) of McAlester. He is also survived by numerous other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
