He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ellis Cooper and Ollie; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Brown Jr., Leon Moore, Alton "Fat" Stafford and Mary Lou Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Brown; his children, James "Jim" Cooper (April) of Sherman, TX and Deborah Honeycutt (Tommy) of Stigler, OK; his grandchildren, Dylan Sparks of Tulsa, OK, Beau Sparks of Oklahoma City, OK, Caty Thomas (Matthew) of Florence, AZ, Kimberlin Honeycutt of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Kara Lin Waters (Christian) of Broken Arrow, OK and John Honeycutt (Rachel) of Siloam Springs, AR; his great grandchildren, Avonlea, Eloise, Ezra, Alexander Thomas and Baby Boy Waters; his brother Gary Cooper (Jenny) of Stratford, OK; and his sister-in-law Sallie Stafford of Holdenville, OK.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
