With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Christopher Scott of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Carl Baker; his parents-in-law, Bob and Joanne Lininger; his grandparents, Jane Kelton, Vera Scott, Georgette Aegetter, Clarence Bench and Lester Scott; and his pet Pomeranians.
He is survived by: his parents, William Eugene (Denise) of McAlester and Janice Scott (Bench) of Savanna; his wife Marlena Scott; his sons, James Vaughn (Noami "Mimi") of Ark City and Nicholas Vaughn (Megan Parks) of San Diego, California; his siblings, Eric Scott of Pittsburg and Tammy Tate (Anthony) of McAlester; his sister-in-law Ramona Driscoll of Lewiston, Montana; his aunts and uncles, Sherald Smith (Bill) of Kansas City, Missouri, Norma Easley of Poteau, June Sutter (Joe) of Hartshorne and Dan Scott of Wagoner; his nieces and nephews, Sheri Reynolds (Eli) of Moore, Levi Driscoll of Japan, Candice Lininger (Cheyanne) of Springfield, Missouri, Stacey Harvey (Travis) of McAlester and Daniel Dibble (Shelby) of Kiowa; his great-nephews, Luca Reynolds of Moore and Wade Lininger of Springfield, Missouri; and his pet Mikey. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bishop Chapel of Memories (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501).
