He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hubert and Leona Owen (Wallace); his granddaughter Addyson Owen; and his siblings, Gene Owen, Wayne Owen, Glen Owen, Norma Clark, Irene Allman, Billie Eslick and Maggie Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Owen; his sons, Greg Owen of Skiatook, Todd Owen of Richardson, TX, Jeff Owen (Tracy) of Jesseville, AR and Scott Owen of Bristow; his grandchildren, Taylor Claybrook (Josh), Brette Stanley (Kyle), Tyler Owen (Vanessa), Sam Owen (Rosie), Brooks Owen (Regan), Austin Owen (Sydney), Brenden Owen (Kaci), Bryson Owen and Kennedy Owen; his great grandchildren, Kate Stanley, Emma Stanley, Jackson Claybrook and Georgia Claybrook; and his sister Carol Auten.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (100 E Washington Ave, McAlester, OK 74501). A committal service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
