He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Smith (Adams); his former wife Delta Jo Manos (Epps); his father Fred B. Smith; his wife Millicent A. Smith; his son Alton D. Smith, Jr.; and his siblings, Jack Stamper, Jr., Edgar Lee Smith, Billy Charles Smith and Joyce L. Stamper.
He is survived by: his son Perry Charles Smith; and his stepchildren, Stevin Priebe, Brian Priebe, Michael Manos (Paula), Valerie K. Castleberry (Dennis), Robert Manos (Laverne) and April Dawn Miggletto (Brian). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
