He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Clarence Turner and Maurine Hattie Turner (Brinkley) of Maysville, Oklahoma.; and his brother Leonard Eugene Turner (Barbara Ruth Turner). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ruth Turner (Dutton); his children, Christy Bartels (Ken Bartels) of Lexington, Wesley Turner of Maysville, Terry Turner of Rosedale, Rae Kittrell (Turner) of Moore and Sarah Holmes (Rhett Holmes) of Goldsby; his sisters, Linda Sue Murray of Maysville and Cynthia Funk of Maysville; his grandchildren, Ryan, Ryder, Rylan, Harrison, Levi, Luke, Tanner, Jake, Reed, Morgann and Alice; and his great grandchild Otto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
