He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Welch and Helen Welch (Ewing); his uncle Buck; his brother Loyd Welch (Donna); his mothers-in-law, Lois and Lillie Mae Hill; his brother Frank; and his siblings-in-law, Deloris Mock and Bill Cockrell.
He is survived by: his children, Kathie Lynn Hood (Jack) of Purcell, OK, Jane Ellen Bagerian (Chris) of Dallas, TX and Jerry Bob Welch of Moore, OK; his wife Gloria of Lexington, OK; his siblings, Billie Cockrell and Joe Welch (Carol) of Lenexa, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Stacy Carter, Kelly Romesburg (Garret) and Tiffany Amber Jessee; his great grandchildren, Jill, Taylor Farrell, Kamdyn, Karter Stokes, Hudson Romesburg, Madison and Makayla Jessee; and his great great grandchildren, McKenna Shea Lynn Self and Aria Lynn Acasia Salas.
