He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Elroy and Edna Elroy (McDaniel); his spouse Uvon Sullins; and his brothers, Glenn, Carl, Tom and Neal Elroy.
He is survived by: his sons, Darren Elroy of Marlow, OK, Bryan Elroy of Ridgecrest, CA and Darrell "Tiny" Elroy of Marlow, OK; and his siblings, Lynn Elroy of Marlow, OK, Dean Fincher of Duncan, OK, Dianne Cogswell of Marlow, OK and Nada Brown of Marlow, OK. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
