She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert M. Bales; her parents, Ardent Sylvester and Ruby Lee Harmon (Hull); her siblings, Richard "Dub" W. Harmon, Doyle G. Harmon and Joan M. Lance; and her children-in-law, Richard Demuth, Thomas Wright, Junita Bales and Katherine Bales.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert M. Bales II of Kingman, AZ, Richard R. Bales of Newalla, OK, Mark S. Bales of Norman, OK, Charles A. Bales of Rush Springs, OK, Marsha K. Demuth of Oklahoma City and Ruby R. Stephenson; and her grandchildren, Aurora, Herbert III, Ericka, Richard, David, Jason, Castalia, Colby, Rachaele, Michelle and Yvette.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel (326 W Blakely Ave, Rush Springs, OK 73082). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southern Baptist Church (115 S 2nd St, Rush Springs, OK 73082).
