She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Karl and Peggy Ruth Scruggs (Beard); her sister Carla Prieto; and her grandson Justice Elam. She is survived by: her children, Curtis Elam (Misti) of Comanche, Shane Elam (Terina) of Rush Springs and Heather Ruthstrom (Jason) of Duncan; her sister Shannon Foster (Bobby); and her close friend Terry Grissom of Marlow. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
