Jean Farmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Farmer of Marlow, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Farmer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Skidmore and Dora Mae Skidmore (Burleson); her husband Richard Thornburg; her sons, Larry Dean Farmer and Richard Thornburg, Jr.; her brother Mack Skidmore; and her nephew Tommy Files.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Don Farmer, Danny Lee Farmer, Nathan Farmer (Stacie), Roy Thornburg (Rhonda) and Barbara Johnson (Tracy); her grandchildren, Sherri Melton (Willie), Jake Farmer, Allyson Cowley (Jacob), Logan Farmer (Linda), Daylan Farmer (Whittney), Cassidy Mercer (Josh) and Little Rick Farmer; her sister Dorthey Files (Johnny); and her daughter-in-law Rhonda Sanders (Scotty). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service (415 W Main St, Marlow, OK 73055). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
