He was predeceased by: his parents, Linard Carson and Ima Jean Carson (Davidson). He is survived by: his wife Ruth V. Sanford; his children, Gary A. Vierra Jr. of Spokane, WA, Brett Kimbrough of Shawnee, KS, Kris Kimbrough (Amy) of Sunnyvale, CA, Aaron Kimbrough (Cindy) of Bentonville, AR, Renee Salomone (Joe) of Marlow and Holly Searls (Jacob) of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Tricia Cole (Jeff), Brian Chennault (Kayla Bogle), Adam Vierra (Tiffany), Cody Vierra, Alex Kimbrough, Jon Kimbrough, Emma Kimbrough, Ethan Searls, Grace Searls, Haley Searls, Addison Searls, Jennifer Morra (Jay) and Bridgette Bizbee; his great grandchildren, Stella, Dillon, Isaiah, Artemio, Jaxon, Timothy, Matthew, Jacob and Jordyn; his brother Lyndal Jones (Leah); and his aunt Laraine Vaughn.
