He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer George Shelton and Hazel Stroud-Shelton-Hill; his stepfather Gene Hill; and his sisters, Cheryl Mannen and Karen Benham.
He is survived by: his wife Cloretta Dee Oakley; his brothers, Mike (Sylvia Hill) of Wynnewood and Ron Luttrell of Elk City; and his siblings-in-law, Morgan Mannen of Comanche, Steve Benham of Mustang and Lee (Max Wells) of Duncan.
