He was predeceased by: his father Richard Franklin "Buck"; and his siblings, Cotton Thompson, Naomi Yersin, Richard "Frank" Thompson, D. T. Thompson, Paul Thompson and Jimmy "Bones" Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Thompson; his children, Buck Thompson (Peggy) of Kerrville, Joe Thompson (Lita) of Duncan, Oklahoma and Paula Wright (Lonnie) of Marlow, Oklahoma; his siblings, Don Thompson of Middleburg, Florida and Johnnye Morris of Kermit, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kari Garia, Andrew Thompson, Philip Thompson, Denisa Reynolds, Clayton Wright, McKinzie Ash, Billy Joe Thompson and Clint Duesman.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church (202 N SIxth St, Marlow, OK 73055).
Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Lakelyn Webb at the Marlow Banc First.
