It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie June Whaley (Marlow, Oklahoma), born in Wellington, Texas, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Bodine and Cordelia Bodine (Ammons); her spouse Ollie "Buddy" Leroy Whaley; and her siblings, Winston Bodine, Don Bodine and Paula Vick.
She is survived by: her children, Royce Whaley (Darlene) and Joyce Pogue (Kelly) of Edmond; her sister Jackie Webb of Amarillo, TX; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Bodine of Wellington, Mattie Whaley of Duncan and Christine Massey. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
