He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Clyde and Margie Cottrell (Richardson); his wife Wanda Fay Miears; his great grandchildren, Daylee Jo Lacey Patterson and Evan Lee Patterson; and his siblings, Charles Ray Cottrell, Glen Dow Gene Cottrell, Lois Eunice Clark and Sandra Joyce Nabors.
He is survived by: his children, Reverend Angela Harrison (Larry) of Stratford, Ann Patterson (Kenny) of Marlow, Melinda Kiper of Chickasha and Sonny Cottrell (Teresa Cottrell) of Midwest City; and his siblings, Retha Mae Nelson, Alta Fay Ward, Sammy Murvel Cottrell (Kathy), Alice Lee Cottrell, Mary Kathryn Santos, Danna Beth Thompson (Mike), Rachel Delaine Willis, Harvey Miears (Georgetta) and Velma Cottrell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
