He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Gonzalez and Reyes Gonzalez; his former wife Bertha; and his siblings, Alberto, Francisco, Rene, Noe Gonzalez and Luzdivina Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Isabel; and his children, Rene (Alejandra Tamez), Roberto (Rae Tamez), Laura Davis (Loren) and Jennifer Gonzalez. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
