He is survived by: his wife Debra Thompson; his children, La'Ray Petersen-Westervelt (Ken) of Aurora, CO, Matthew Willis Thompson (Cassidy) of Thackerville, OK and Bradley Hall Thompson (Brittany McFarland) of Thackerville; his grandchildren, Henry Willis Thompson of Thackerville, Lexington Quinn Petersen of Aurora and Liam Childress of North Carolina; his siblings, Loyd, Gary, Lois, Terry and Julie; and also Christopher Sanchez of Ardmore, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
