It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Foster (Marietta, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Foster to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, K. A. "Bob" Foster and Jewel Alene Foster (Brown); his sisters, Twila June Foster and Peggy Dell Sykora; and his son-in-law Lester Greathouse.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Jo Chambers; his children, Steve Foster (Maridel) of Newcastle, OK, Bobby Foster (Brenda) of Marietta, Lisa Greathouse of Ardmore and Scott Foster (Kim) of Ardmore; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Amanda, Jake, Skye, Cash, Cody, Hannah, Garrett, Parker and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Madilynn, Tripp, Blakelyn, Beckett, Brady, Blake, Palmer, Kinsler, Creighton and Crimson; and his stepsister Erma Murphy of Gainesville, TX.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was on the Board of Directors of the Shady Dale Fire Department and donated the land to build the Fire Station, and it was named Foster #1.
