She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alven and Velma Corinne Wheatley (Mayhugh); her great grandchild Allison; her nephew Glen "Gil" Gilbert, Jr.; her son-in-law Darryl "Mack" Gilbert; and her brothers-in-law, Glen Gilbert, Gordon and Fultz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Gilbert of Leon and Anita Brown (Apolinar "Poli" Guerrero) of Van Horn, TX; her siblings, Bill Wheatley (Paula) of Oklahoma City, OK and Karen Gilbert of Marietta; her grandchildren, Sherry Diaz (Dario), Tricia Gilbert (Jesse Burk), Adam Gilbert, Gary Gilbert and Brad Brown; her great grandchildren, Logan, Isaac, Robby, Alex, Ashley, Brayden, Lucas, Madysen and Lily; and her great great grandchildren, Darryl Jr. and Lily.
