She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Stevens and Odessa Fern Tate (Neal); her husband Kenneth Wayne Whittington; her son-in-law Cliff Hurley; and her siblings, Kenny, Dale, Robert, Billy, Johnny Tate, Beverly Carmon and Iona Skidmore.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Whittington of Gainesville, Gary Whittington of Thackerville, OK, Roger Whittington of Thackerville, OK and Rita Hurley of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Erin Rowan (Matt) of Henderson, NV and Lindsey Reiling (Mike) of Lipan, TX; her great grandchildren, Callie, Hailey, Austin, Nolan, Carson and Miss Josie; her sisters, Shirley Eyster of Justin, TX, Joan Shaffer of Thackerville and Cindy Freeman of Oklahoma City, OK; and her siblings-in-law, Lillie Tate of Euless, TX, Francis Tate of Haltom City, TX and Homer Carmon of Ringling, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
