She was predeceased by: her husband Sonny Shankles; and her son Van A. Zimmerman, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Tonya Spanglo (Bobby) and Tiffany Zimmerman of Ardmore, OK; her siblings, Carolyn Liddell (Wesley, Jr.) of Thackerville, OK, John Sconce (Pat) of Shady Dale, David Sconce (Dessi) of Thackerville and Paul Sconce (Stacy) of Marietta; her grandchildren, Zack Spanglo, Kilee Vinson (Jake) of Enville, OK, Courtney Hicks of Lawton, OK, Crystal Hicks of Denton, TX, Elizabeth Spradlin (Heath) of Marietta and Jessie Zimmerman of Ardmore; her great grandchildren, Mila Vinson, Makynlee Spradlin, Alyssa Spradlin and Lily Towner; and her parents-in-law, Linda Stewart, Charles Shankles, Sylvia Stewart, Vickie Shankles, Don Shankles and Troy Shankles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
