He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Pearl Grace Brewer (Culp); his siblings, Charley Brewer, Almer Brewer, Jack Brewer, J. D. Brewer, Jessie Rackley, Juanita Harris, Noretta Wenniger and Grace Hardeman; and his great grandchild Landon Jacquez.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mae Kerr; his sons, Bobby Brewer of Marietta and Rickey Brewer of Marietta; and his sisters, Frankie Coates of Blythe, CA and Mary Paul of Ardmore, OK. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family has asked that those who wish to send memorial contributions in Sammy's memory remember the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
