Royce Douglas Willis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Royce Douglas Willis of Marietta, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Freeman Willis and Minnie Willis (Fitzgerald); his former wife Patricia Jackson; his spouse Charlette Rutledge-Skidmore; and his sister Fran.
He is survived by: his stepfather J. Y. Baucom; his sisters, Wilma, Loretta and Nancye; and his children, Mark Willis of Norman, Frank Skidmore (Terri) of Ada, Mike Willis (Julie) of Dale, Susie Christy (Randall) of Ada, Melody Payne (Loyd) of Oklahoma City and Laura Willis. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (402 W Main St, Marietta, OK 73448).
