It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Arledge (Marietta, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bennet and Georgia Ann Arledge (Beauford); and his siblings, Eddie, Frank, Chester, Darl, Carl Arledge, Evelyn Hooks and Hattie Arledge.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Crummey; his children, Kathy J. Hays, Michael Keith Arledge, Lisa Ann and Kimberly Arledge; his grandchildren, Milissa Dawn, Joey Nichols, Ashley Amber (Hays), Jay Davis, Justin Keith Arledge, Michael Cain Arledge, Rosa Lott, Ashley Johnson, Neil Johnson, Jeremy Hamilton, Yvonne McDonald, Patricia Williams, Sharae Hammond and Breayah Pendergrass; his great grandchildren, Jacob Don, Kristen Nichols, Jordan Claude Nichols, Kassie Marie Nichols, Jillian Arledge, Carter Arledge, Ethan Denney, Ryleigh Davoult, Damian Hamilton, Alleyna Hamilton, Kamayah Hain, Taytum Smith, William Smith, Ayva McDonald, Cash Williams, Nevaeh Baker and Xander Baker; and his great great grandchild Ky-Air Clark. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, and his caregivers.
