He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilda Ross (Lucas) and Stanley Ross; his wife Loretta Lee "Lori" Bennett; his daughter Shauna Ross; and his siblings, James Ross, Kelly Combs, David Combs and Betty Bowman.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Ross (Terilyn) of Oklahoma City, OK and Carla Gwin (Michael) of Wayne, OK; his granddaughters, Katie Cothren and Becky Stilwell; his siblings, Paul Combs of Kentucky, Mary McCollum of Florida and Linda Combs of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Callie Henry (Brandon), Kyle Wells (Kalle), Kyli Erickson (John) and Dior Dowling (Auston); and his great grandchildren, Drake, Kyleigh, Faith, Cambri, Hartlee and Meritt.
