He was predeceased by: his parents, Cap Adams and Clara Adams; his children, Timmy Adams and Penny Adams; his sister Linda Kidd; and his nephew Dewayne Kidd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Sprouse of Thackerville and Rita Shampine (Doug) of Alba, TX; his brother-in-law Thomas Kidd; and his niece Shawna Kidd of Gainesville. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
