It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kermit Eugene McKinney of Marietta, Oklahoma, born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Benton and Reva Janette McKinney (Long); his grandparents, Waite, Cleta McKinney, Frank and Ella Long; his son Matthew McKinney; his sister Angela McKinney; and his brother-in-law Randy Keeton.
He is survived by: his wife Jeffna Sue Talley; his son Chase McKinney (Seana) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Matthew McKinney and Kynlee McKinney; his pet Bella; his sisters, Ella Keeton of Ardmore and Janet Page (Allen) of Ardmore; his nieces and nephews, Robert Page of Richardson, TX, Ryan Keeton of Ardmore, Bill Page of Bartlesville, OK, Cody Keeton (Lauren) of Frisco, TX, Reese Talley (Hillary) of Ft Worth, TX and Trinidee Chambers (Kevin) of Mabank, TX; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leah, Mason, Brooklyn, Addison and Ryan; and his brother-in-law Joe Talley of Amarillo, TX.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home (100 E Main St, Marietta, OK 73448). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Marietta (402 W Main St, Marietta, OK 73448). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery (10589 Cemetery Rd, Marietta, OK 73448).
