He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben H. McKay and Lura L. Reasoner McKay; his siblings, Lanelle Lawson and Fred McKay; and his daughter-in-law Connie McKay.
He is survived by: his children, Charles McKay, Lynn Butler (Lester), Luann McMillin (Ricky) and Willis McKay (Mary); his sister Betty Faye Anderson; his sons, Lester Butler and Ricky McMillin; and his grandchildren, Lyndal Butler, Lance Butler, Nicolas McMillin and Kaysen McMillin. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Love County Military Museum or the Love County Junior Livestock Show.
