It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claudia Loonita McGehee of Marietta, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Claude and Tennie Pearl Lang (Adcock); and her siblings, Verna Kerbo, Oral Lang, Mildred Lang, Autry Mae Bearden, Delbert Lang, James "Caesar" Lang, Velton "Brutus" Lang and Essie Lang.
She is survived by: her children, William Darrel McGehee (Karol) of Corinth, TX and Anita Jane Van Wye (Henry) of Allen, TX; her sister Wanda Shellenberger (F. A.) of Lone Grove, OK; her grandchildren, Olivia White (Justin), Magan McGehee, Brett McGehee and Rachel Carson (Evan); her great grandchildren, Barrett, Everett Carson and Hallie White; her sister-in-law Joy Lang; and her caregivers, Lori, Brenda, Leanna, Cindy and Kylee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home (100 E Main St, Marietta, OK 73448). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ (305 S. W. 3rd, Marietta, OK 73448). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery (10589 Cemetery Rd, Marietta, OK 73448).
The family suggest any memorial donations to be made to a breast cancer society of their choice.
