He was predeceased by: his mother Sallie Elizabeth Taylor (Long); his wife Frances Jo Taylor; his parent Charlie Bud Taylor; and his siblings, Maggie Norman, Laverne Desmond, Ralph Taylor, Jimmy Watkins Taylor, Nellie Mae Taylor, Betty Ruth Blackmon, Myrtle Taylor and Dovie Taylor.
He is survived by: his sibling Celina; his children, Connie Lynn (Gordon Mize), Charles Steven Taylor (Jocelyn), Terri Ann (Wayne Clark) and Tina Gayle (Johnny Reed); his grandchildren, Stephanie Langston, Johnny Mitcheson, Charles Weston Edwards, Tabatha Lowery, Starla DeLaGarza, Carla Cannon, Nikki Reed and Taylor Reed; and his brother Buck Taylor. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
