He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Frances (Burton) and Fred William Hill; his sons, Chuck Howard, Ronald Howard and Terry Howard; and his brothers, Bill Hill, Richard Hill and Ray Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hill; his children, Linda Howard of Marietta, Norma Herndon of Gainesville, TX, Sam Howard of Marietta, Daniel Howard, Mike Howard (Robin) of Marietta, Don Howard of Marietta, Jack Howard (Rhonda) of Marietta, Raymond Hill of Tahlequah, OK, Darla Hill of Berry, KS and Steve Mathews (Jennifer) of Marietta; and his sisters, Jackie Norris of Gainesville and Clara Hill. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
