It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Frank Scruggs of Mannsville, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Virdell "F. V." and Anita Irene Henderson Scruggs; his siblings, Bob Scruggs and Virgina Gaither; and his great grandchild Jersey Renee Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Cline, Jamie Whittington (Jesse), Renee James (Kent), Dea Gray (Cooter), Cory Bill and Leah Mays (Johnny); his grandchildren, Travis Simmons, Summer Winegeart (William), CJ Edwards, Madison Scruggs (Austin Brownlee), Michael, Marc James, Corbyn, Berkley Gray, Jayce, Jarred, Jessica Mays and Trenton Scruggs; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Hazel, Violet, Shawn Winegeart, Jayce and Jenson-Jodie-Jasmine; and his siblings, Don Scruggs and Shirley George (Johnny). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Watts Funeral Home - Madill (200 S 1st St, Madill, OK 73446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (210 S 1st St, Madill, OK 73446). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Woodberry Forest Cemetery (1001 S 1st St, Madill, OK 73446).
