He is survived by: his wife Violet Hoffman; his children, Chris McCarty (Jeri) and Karen Sequira; his granddaughters, Whitney Tillman (Jeremy), Shelby and Kaylie Sequira; his siblings, Dan McCarty (Sarah Susan) and Lyneeta Reininger; his half-sister Royann McGuire; his sister-in-law Mary Alice Hazelton; and his nieces and nephews, Ernest Hoffman (Pandora), Steve Hoffman (Leita), Jeff Hazelton, Paul Hicks, Parry Hicks (Shannon), Michael McCarty (Terri), Judy Moss (Dan), Donna Frayer (Jim), Paula Renfrow (Mark), Pam Ramsey (Chuck), Audrey Purdue, Jeannine Powell, Cheryl Garrison (Gregg) and Susan Fender (Curt).
