He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Aikman and Frances Aikman; his wife Joyce Aikman; his stepfather Thomas Antone; his siblings, Bill Aikman, Jo Francis Wilburn and Geraldine Slentz; and his daughter Cathy Aikman.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann Gravitt; his sister-in-law Pauline Aikman; his children, Dena Nading (Curt), Cindy Perkins (Ken) and Rick Aikman (Denise); his adoptive daughter Charlotte Lawless; his grandchildren, Matt Radford, Nick Nading (Jamie), Ryan Aikman, Blake Aikman, Chad Nading (Despina), Jake Perkins and Beth Perkins; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Aikman, Colson Nading, Kinsley Nading, Lawson Nading, Jade Perkins and Cheyanne Perkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
